Any exciting North American cup matches today?

I am playing a non-bot...Div IV, Killah Beez. Looks decent...

I'm playing a fellow DIV team. According to the ratings I did, I'm number 8, they're number 18.

I'm up 10-0 already though.

14-7...keep it up. Besides, his kicker misses in the clutch!

I'm up 21-0 going into the 2nd Q -- maybe not such a great game.

Thanks for reminding me about the Rockets-Invaders game. Could be the game of the year in the NA Cup, and definitely the game of the week.

I'm up 24-0 now in the 2nd so I think I'll be following this game closer.

Great job Invaders. They may now be the favorite to win this(other than the defending champion Strudels of course).

After my game, I looked at the other Div IV.24 teams and the system was showing that Brooklyn Barracudas had won 13-7, but the game was still in progress and went on for another 10 minutes after the final score was posted. Sure enough, they eventually won, 13-7.

Does this mean that the scores are pre-determined and the engine just runs plays to match the final score?

Nope. What happens is that the calculations are done instantly for the game, and unfold as the hour does. If a game goes into overtime, the results are already known by the game engine. So once 5 minutes goes by and the system is updated, it shows the results, or what is going to happen once overtime is over.
