How did everyone's training go?

Mine was a disaster. One 32 yo decreased his strength from 13 to 12, and my main quarterback got injured and is now out for 23 days! Might be time to hire some more medical staff (I have two there at the moment).

For my youth pull, I went for a quarterback (as I had done last week). Only has 2 passing and not much vision, but does have 19 Intelligence and 20 Teamwork. Plus he's only 16. I reckon he's marginally better than the 17 yo QB I pulled when I first joined up, so he'll now be starting in my next league game.

Incidentally, I set the training intensity to Maximum, as I hoped that might make the players train better, but it seems like maybe it increases the risk of injury. Last edited on 2008-09-18 at 10:10

I'm not sure about any improvement on my team but one guy did get injured...

...the guy that sold on the market roughly a half hour earlier

Still haven't received any injuries yet. I'm starting to think that the newbie mistake that I made when I first signed up is paying dividents I upgraded my medics to level 4 and I haven't see a player with a condition less than superb yet!

As for training, 5 pops today. My punter, who has pretty much 1 skill in everything but punting, strength, speed and intelligence, now has punting skill 6. A few tacklers have raised to 6, also.

Don't worry about the 32 year old decreasing. It will happen due to age of the player. Your best bet is to get some new, younger players for that position, because it is more than likely that the 32 year old is retiring at the end of the season, right?

Also, if you read the Training FAQ, training intensity does raise the risk of injury, but ofcourse, you gain more training points!

My youth pick wasn't so great. A 16 year old Wide Receiver with 1 catching.

Regards.

If you are a supporter, yes.

If not, make an excel spreadsheet
