so i have a 19 speed 18 str 4.5 talent youth with 9 cons and im not particularly sure where to put him. im filled at linebacker and at wr/te and i feel like putting him at corner would be a waste of his str. I was hoping his str would cap a point higher so he could play DL but that isnt the case. whats a good spot for him?

Oh to have these problems...

Once you assemble a competitive top division roster this happens

At 19/18 spd/str any defensive position is dueable. I have 19/19 DE's that are great and DE would be good with his CON.

Otherwise FB/RB og CB. Perhaps dual FB/CB? Train defensive - all and make a win-win?

FB/DE would be fine. What is wrong with 19/18 and 4.5 talent? I have an 18/18 DE in training

Thanks for help I'll prob make him de/CB hybrid

I've got a young 4* player with high intelligence and consistency. His speed/strength capped at 10/18. Is 10 speed prohibitively low to be a DT?

Would have fired him. borderline for OC, but my min for 4* on the OL is 19 str. Same consideration for DT or NT. If he was a 4.5* or 5* player, then 18 would be okay for either of those positions. I would never consider him for SS, as I like a min of 16 spd for that position.

I assumed the SS post was a joke. Is there that much of a difference between 4* and 4.5*? Both can still achieve a 5* BPOS, correct?

Both can still achieve a 5* start and end game rating, but I've only seen this when the 4* player has exceptional speed and strength numbers. Therefore, from my experience, that 4* player with 10/18, would probably never realize 5* start and end game ratings. As for bpos, a 4* player maxes out at 4.5* bpos. Skill-wise, I have never had a 4* player hit 20, but Lynn Boldt hit all 19's on my team for OLB and due to his super high fitness, pretty much always gets 5* start and end game ratings.

In summary, I love 4* players that are super high fitness. For the OL or DL, 4* players need to be at least 19 or 20 str for me to consider them as value. I give 4.5* and 5* players a point or two bonus on fitness numbers, meaning that I would go as low as 17 or 18 for them, because I feel their higher bpos will compensate for this
