At what point can I expect my QB to post anything that could remotely be considered decent statistics? His intelligence and consistency is 17 and 20, respectively. All relevant skills are 8 and change.Last edited on 2016-10-21 at 14:14

I think you bought him from me long ago. I won't get too specific but I believe you have capped his BPOS at 4.5 stars. I think he can be serviceable but eventually I think you will want to replace him with a 4.5 or 5.0 star talent. I suspect most of the top teams have a QB that has 5.0 BPOS.

He can produce decent statistics but at the higher levels your opponents will probably have a better QB most of the time.

Added: It also looks like at this point you are still running a balanced attack rushing & receiving. You may want to go pass heavy and see how he does. You will probably find it tough to advance much higher without a good passing offense.

I found that once QB's get their main skills (passing, vision, agility, footwork) over 10, their performance increases dramatically.

You will not see maxing bpos until you get the skills up to about 16 or higher. You may see some improvement in his stats once you get the skills over 10, but I wouldn't expect much over 35-40% completion % at the most. Green skills equate to getting into the high bpos on game day. Also, will depend a bit on who you are playing and how good their defense is

My current starter had completion % I the low 40's when he was around 10-11 in skills. That was plenty to be competitive in D.III if you pass 100% of the time and have at least one good WR or TE.

Without the good WR or TE though, then that % will drop and the team will struggle.

Pretty sure AbCat had a QB with passing 9 in ASE TD last year and was holding his own. Don't know what the other skills were/are but don't think passing was considerably behind the other skills (his QB now earns 17k so isn't much higher this year and he's currently 2nd in TD)

High Intel High teamwork good skills everywhere. The question will be about physicals. What about a TE FS? Or TE LB?
Cheers
