I was just wondering if the standard of youth players is better, the higher up the leagues you go.
Obviously in college football, the better players would want to go to USC,Florida etc. Does the same apply here?

Thanks

I think that would be unfair, since higher placed teams already have a lot financial extra than lower teams.

The youth you get to pick is random...

Ratings and talent might be random but the position is anything but random as i ALWAYS get a safety and a defensive linemen of which i dont need either

certain positions are more common ... you need more d-linemen than QBs so d-linemen appear more frequently, for example ... i've gotten a lot of LBs and safeties, one RB and one TE so far

and the position of a youth pull doesn't really matter anyway. play them somewhere else if you don't need them there. their position rating is low enough to start that it's not that hard to get them to change positions.

Safeties could step in and play corner fairly easily, and DE's could easily be transformed into LB's. I know it would be nice to have more, but you just have to make the best of it.

How do you justify that?

Sure, with Corners and Safeties, you could switch the players. But you think Linebackers need similar skills to Defensive Linemen? Right....

Depends on what kind of lineman and what kind of linebacker you like, obviously, but for me, I like smaller, faster lineman. For my team, linemen and linebackers can be interchanged.

Perhaps for other teams who like bigger, stronger linemen, or ones who like LB's who are built like safeties it's different though. Another one of those things that make football such a great game.

I understand what you are saying, but Linebackers need other skills which Defensive Linemen do not. For example, Vision and Intelligence being the main skills. You could also say Positioning, too.

You make a valid point though, we are all different, which this thread shows

Guru.

Well if you can interchange guys put you kicker as your QB and have your QB play Dline lol

but i dont want a safety to play corner or a dline to play LB as Guru named a lot of reasons including build and stats
