Well, I duly lost my semi-final to the Auckland Raiders. They never looked back after scoring 21 points in the second quarter, but I can at least say I won the second half. 14-3 (to make the overall scoreline 24-14) was a most commendable effort.

I should think that the Raiders will go on to do the Top Division/Regional Cup double. They're easily the best team in Oceania right now, while the Slumbering Skink are comfortably the second best, and my lot are third - or at least, in the top five.

Whoa, the Melbourne 49ers have caused an upset! 28-14 win over the Skink in the other semi! They're definitely going to be right in the mix next season! Auckland Raiders should be too strong for them in the final though.
