Admin, can you clarify whether a skill check (tackle check, blocking check etc.) do this have any kind of variable chance in them, or will a given player beat another given player every time a check is made if the corresponding skill is better.
For example Player A has 14 str and Player B has 13 str, when they need to compare strength scores is there a statistical variable added to their str or is it a straight check between the two players and player B will always fail.

There's a bit of random involved - that way there is a chance that the player with the worse skill will "win". The bigger the gap between players skills, less chance there is for the worse player to win

I was going to say that it cant be as simple as that, otherwise a blocker would never be able to keep the opponent at bay.

I figured it wasn't that simple, I just wanted to know for a fact if there was a small variable tossed in. Thanks for the input and speedy response as always admin! (we need a name for you admin sounds too generic for someone doing this much work:thumb
