I'll be following DePaul a bit next year once Eric Wallace is eligible. The kid has some talent and is athletic, but there was no where for OSU to play him. Hopefully he can play well over there.

Hey. Kind of new, been playing about 2 weeks.
If anyone has any advice than I am all ears.
My team has won its last 3 games since I have owned the team.
Team name is the OKC Oilers.
I am also looking to play more games to see how well my offense (and defense) perform. I would love if an expert can scout me and give me some tips.
Scrimmages are always welcome. I think most of my league, if not ALL, is computer so I don't feel any real competition.
Thanks.

Welcome to the game! One piece of advice I can give you if you're looking for some help is to check out the mentor's program(rookie's forum, looking for mentors/sponsors). Some already have someone set up to help out but there may be some still available. By sending a few a PM you could be able to find someone to play for a few weeks to help you out.

Hey everyone, I just joined and run the Wisconsin Packers. I'm new, so be gentle!

Hit me up for a friendly sometime and teach me how to play this game!

As always glad to have another new member check out the forums. Be sure to read up in the Center for Rookies forum to check out lots of helpful information that has been stickied. Welcome to GI.

Edit: just checked out your roster, you need to be very careful with your players energies. I personally wouldn't let them go below 95% since you've got a lot of ground to make up in your division that has humans.

If you need advice, you can message just about anyone who is active in the forums, and they'll probably hit you up with some wisdom.

Playing since last August I think, its been fun building my team up and running deep into the regional cup this year. I use a "Build From Within" system, like my squad the San Diego Chargers and it seems to be working.

Anyway, good luck to everyone still in the race and better luck next time to those who aren't.

Well i see someone also likes to build there team much like i do and that not using the transfer market much and building them through training

which i think is the best way but everyone has there own ways of building there team so there really isnt a right or wrong way to build your team as long as they win with out cheating

Haha. I tend to be more of a transfer market guy myself. As I haven't gotten one youth pull yet this year that will start.

But with the market getting so much more expense, I may need to switch tactics and pray I get luckier. lol.

I hit the transfer market hard early on to built up my team, and now I'm going to start taking it easy and training up some players who can start 2-3 seasons down the road. To me, that's the perfect answer. Get yourself somewhat strong early, then just maintain it.
