That should actually be a bonus rule In addition to the inflated ego that may come with it

It would probably make it very complicated to have a bonus system, but I guess it could be fun with a "shooting stars" system, where there would be some kind of bonus to beat certain "star" teams. Kinda like they have in poker tournaments.

Another options was to have a bonus factor based on the team you beat division level.

how about these changes to rankings formula?
1.
make the points for league wins Vs human based on # seasons opponent team has been in the game – this will represent the differing difficulties of divisions
2.
cup wins bonus - keep the same points allocation, but in addition give a + (divisional difference x 100) bonus for human cup wins - so a div.5 team that beats a TD team gains an extra 400 points for that big cup win

proposed new formula;

(league wins x 100)
+
(Sum(Seasons each Human Opp defeated has been in game x 100 ) )
+
(points scored x 2)
-
(points conceded x 2)
-
(division x 100) TD is 0
+
(Cup rounds won x 50)
+
(Human cup wins x 250)
+
(For cup match wins Vs Human -> difference in Div levels x 100)
