According to the game rules, the way we set training intensity affects training points and fitness points. If I set intensity to low then I gain training points and lose fitness points and vice versa. Am I right so far?

The impact of training points is easy enough to understand. The question is, what fitness points am I gaining/losing? Is it my fitness percentage that goes up/down or my fitness training points? Does it matter if I am training fitness or not?

You got it
And the fitness affected is the condition of the players (so yes, that percentage on the profile screen) which affects player's performance on the match day.

From the rules:

Depending on the training intensity you can gain or lose training points and gain or lose fitness. See details below:
Very Low: + 6 training points and - 5 to - 10 fitness points
Low: + 2 training points and - 3 to - 6 fitness points
Average: 0 training points and 0 to + 2 fitness points
High: - 2 training points and + 3 to + 6 fitness points
Maximum: - 4 training points and + 5 to + 6 fitness points

So now, if you train really hard, you lose trainingpoints.
Wouldn't it be more logical that if you train hard (=higher intensity), you get some extra trainingpoints, and if you train only a little (=lower intensity), you would lose trainingpoints?
I think, if you would compare it with real life, this would be more logical...

Another typo, should be the other way around. Will be fixed ASAP
