Hello Again GI Today's interview finds SD chargers lead man Moledier in the crosshairs. He has managed to not give up a single score in non freindly competition yet so I wanted to touch base with him on some defensive topics.
Mercutioh:Thanks for moining me today, I appreciate you taking the time to answer some questions I appreciate it as do the other coaches!
Moledier: Sure thing!
Mercutioh:What is the most important thing to consider when building a defensive lineup?
Moledier:Hmm i cant really tell whats most important, but when building a defensive lineup in grid-iron you have to ake sure they can stop the run, because when you see how most TDs are scored you realize they are long runs or passes, and often a couple of broken tackles, so I really think much about the tackling skill of my linebackers, and linemen too, and placing my stronger linemen on the outside to hopefully put some pressure on the QB.
Mercutioh:Have you built your team off of the Transfer lists or through your original players?
Moledier:I have yet to buy a player from the transfer list, every player on my team are original players or youth players trying on my team.. And so far they are doing a pretty decent job.
Mercutioh:What do you look for in defenders?
Moledier:Have not bought a player yet, but when i would look for a new defensive player, he has to be young so i can keep him for as long as possible, and speed, tackling and strength is great for linemen and linebackers, for safeties and CB i like speed, intelligence and catching.
Mercutioh:What position would make you happiest to pull a 16 year old 5 star talent in?
Moledier:Right now my team is not in serious need of anything special, but of course a young star on my QB position wouldn't be bad since he is getting old, or maybe a receiver since the only reason to chance my QB at the moment is his age. On the defensive side I could use some faster linebackers or stronger linemen, so if the young star is good in those stats that wouldn't be bad.
