Today, we sit down with the upset king, Buliwyf, who's team Brady's Bunch took out a very potent Infamous Leopards squad and is currently poised to make a deep run in their region's cup.


Mercutioh:Buliwyf, I appreciate the opportunity!

Buliwyf:Thanks for asking me!

Mercutioh:What do you think is the key to a successful team in GI?


Buliwyf:I think the key to be successful right now is to know your team and try to improve every single player in your lineup. Therefore I made a Excel-Sheet with all my players and tried to come up with some real basic formulas for player evaluation. The formulas are based on common sense of what skill set is important to which position. There was a nice thread from Will helping me a lot. Thanks for that Still the results are only a guideline to see which player may fit best to which position. Using this rough guideline I was trying to adapt the basic concepts of some successful NFL Teams.
I started to fill my line up with both lines. Because I think protection/pressure is a key ingredient to be successful. My D-line is generating many tackles for negative yardage or pressuring the QB on pass attempts. Although the O-Line is not mentioned in the Stats page it is a vital part of any football team. So I guess/hope the developers think on the same lines. I recently switched my QB, but before I had a QB with a single star rating and still was able to generate a decent passing attack. My RB is also not a prime back, but young and able to generate some yardage.


Mercutioh:Do you scout your opponents from game to game?


Buliwyf:I look at the last few competitive games, but to say I scout them would be too much.


Mercutioh:What do you look for in the scouting game?


Buliwyf:I just check how the defense and the offense line up looks like. On defense I look how many lineman he uses, so maybe I need two TE or I can play with three WR. But till today I normally play with two TE, to me protection is more important. On offense I look how many HB or WR he uses or if he generates more yardage on the ground or in the air, adjusting my safeties accordingly. But again I have a basic line up which I use 90% of the time.


Mercutioh:When Placing your players do you look for Best fit of skills, or natural position?


Buliwyf:As mentioned before I look for Best fit of skills rather than natural position. Most of my starting line up has converted their natural position by now, but still not all of them.
