TeamHB World Cup Ranking Explained 04.11.2010

We decided to have a sligtly more elaborate way to calculate the WC rankings. Here's the calculation:
WC ranking = (((GWQ x 2.5 - GLQx0.6) + PPQ) + ((GWG x 4.0 - GLG x 0.9) + PPG) + 1/4pts (W or L) + 1/2 (W or L) + final 4 place) x 10

GWQ is Games Won in the WC qualifying group
GLQ is Games Lost in the WC qualifying group
PPQ is Position Points in the qualifying round -> 1st = 10, 2nd= 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 5, 5th = 4, 6th= 3, 7th = 2, 8th = 1
GWG is Games Won in the Group stage of the World Cup
GLG is Games Lost in the Group stage of the World Cup
PPG is Position Points in the Group stage of the World Cup -> 1st = 18, 2nd = 14.4, 3rd = 10.8, 4th = 9
1/4pts are points you get for 1/4 final -> Won = 25, Lost = 20
1/2pts are points you get for 1/2 final -> Won = 5, Lost = 1
4th place = 20
3rd place = 40
2nd place = 60
1st place = 100

Ranking points are currently not shown. We are planing a slight redesign of the "team overview" screen (no promises on when that will happen). When we are done with that the points will be visible for all to "admire".
