Sad to say it was on the cards. Should really have made it to TD a couple of years back. Had a good chance of going up this yeat, Did alot in a short space of time but ultimately, his wages were unsustainable.

I am pretty sure it must have been financial issues. They have a good few young players that could have made an impact on the national team. A couple that still could make it but it would have been better had they kept on improving.

It is definitely a pity, they seemed like a team on the up and all Irish which is impressive.

Happened a few weeks ago. He had a lot to do with the team. He more or less had to start from scratch so looks like he just gave up.

Was around a few years seanand, hopefully he returns.

But like you said, once the finances catch up with ye, it can take away from the games enjoyment.

It can do, for some, but not all. Its tough to get back to where you were, but it will be worth it
