One of my few Aussie talents that hasn't capped atrociously low may be an option in a couple of seasons. 20 intel, 15/18 (both uncapped, but trying to get more speed currently), 12 consistency, and 4.5 max BPOS. Current BPOS and skills leave a lot to be desired though...

i have alot of 4.5 talent players that haven't capped with low skills also. another few seasons they will be ready. QB RB CB SF, so it'll be good for Australia in a few seasons. The Skinks have some good youth talent hidden away also that'll be ready soonish also. The Wolverines have a few great players also. If their manager make a decission to increase skills/wages, alot of his players will find their way into the National Team.

my starting safety when i was selecting players wasn't a good as one of the current safeties, but now he is with multiple weeks training, so he'll be good for the next cycle. wish he was on the team now though.

it is good to see many managers investing time and effort into home grown talent. will make the future of the auzzie team awesome. considering where we are now, and the improvments with younger talent coming up.

WTF is a KR doing taking passes ???

Australia has quality TE and WR so why play others out of position, even if is a secondary position for them ??

I had to think overnight about a response to your question, I didn't wanna offend. As I respect your critique as the previous coach. And as the only other Austalian coach with insight into the WC situation. Although any Austalian coach can give critique, as it is a all round team effort.

After seeing that Australia got stiffed once again in the group selections. 3 top 10 teams this stage, there is one group who's best team is ranked 9th??? And the only group with 2 top 10s in the previous group stage. So I knew we would have to pull a rabbit out of the hat thanks to the crappy group draw we recieved once again.

The KR in question has just as equal BPOS as the other recievers, 2nd fastest reciever and is the strongest reciever (excluding TEs) in the team. His stamina far exceeds all but 1 reciever. He was the 2nd best reciever of the 4 that game, so he did hold his own.

I guess the pull a rabbit out of the hat tactics just didn't pay off. Yes there were some minor issues on offense, but defence was a total wreck in the 1st half. Denmark played 4 wide recievers and they punished us in the air, our LOLB couldn't keep up I guess? Something I'm sure no one would've expected?

Actually he was the worst performing on average yardage. Given your rationale would have been longer yardage then the move failed as shorter yardage pass plays should have seen sulokowski on the team. Cartledge v Sulokowski is the only relevant comparison in this game review.

Move on from that and think hard for next game. You have done an excellent job to date, but this game let you down as I don't feel you did enough work on figuring out Denmark possible game plan - but that happens to all of us.

That one is one to forget. But you get that playing the best team in the World. Can anyone figure out that 3rd quarter???

I thought we were going really well scoring 3 times from our first 4 possessions, then nothing!

Never though loosing that one key safety would make the pass defence so different.

Might not be a bad time to consider Pierce Boyle. Dude's aces.
Not that I'm bias.

Thank you.

Stole the win in overtime in today's game! Pulled a rarely used TE out of the roster cupboard, dusted him off and sent him out. 3 TDs and 190ish yards later. With 58yards + a TD in the overtime to seal the win. Also dropped in more speed at LOLB and and a whole extra MLB to support the struggling SFs.

Happy result. Should've done it 2 games earlier.

Unfortunately, that is also Australia's campaign over with for this cycle. We went out, but at least we went out in style at the end.

Thanks to those managers that helped along the way. Daudy, Cash_Box, faulcon, katsuben, BuiltForSpeed, Jeremiah Kool and Roger Ramjet.

Next cycle will be great for Australia. We've proved we belong with wins over 8th and 10th world ranked teams.
