Amstutz is and was a great guy, and for that reason alone I'm sorry to see him go. But the recruiting was terrible and the last couple of years the team had no discipline. I believe he took a position higher up in the athletic department though, so at least he's not completely out of a job.

I'm hoping to get to Cleveland for that game next year. I agree with Merc, I think these games will become more and more frequent. BG has played Wisconsin in Cleveland, and this past year I believe Kent State played Boston College there. Western Michigan the last couple of years has also played a home game at Ford Field, I believe this past year against Illinois. Anything to get average attendance up so the schools and conference doesn't get kicked out of 1A.

Yes the Kent State Flashes did play Boston Collage at Cleveland stadium. I was planning to go because i have a friend who i think starts at one of the safeties, of Kent State.

Although Kent State isn't very good, sounds cool to have a friend starting at a D1A college.

A few years ago I had a cousin that played LB at Toledo, but due to the age difference we never talked in our life.

[quote="Squish Bobcat? Im a Polar bear (ONU) and we are D3 so it's not the same as rooting for a different team. Not to mention I don't root for ONU b/c because we suck. I'm a UT fan through and through. I've probably been to 25 UT games in my life, all of which before I was 20.

ONU means Ohio Northern right. If it is then my cousin Jessie Richards starts on the football team there as a free safety im pretty sure.

I only went to one game. that was there 10-7 loss to Baldwin Wallace.

Yeah ONU is Ohio Northern.

Back to the original topic for a moment, what does everything think about the Browns trading Winslow? Considering he has never lived up to the hype, won't shut his mouth, they have his replacement in Rucker already, and they got 2 picks, including a 2nd rounder for him, I say it's a great deal.

totally agree. Just like the Giants getting rid of Shockey. this was a good move for the clubhouse and the future.

Yes it was a very good deal considering he was always injured. And Rucker is actually a pretty good tight end, from what i have seen.
