People's thoughts on this week? I can't really see past the home teams again.

I will go for Seattle Seahawks for the most likely spoiler to this party.

Sorry but you had a poor performance last week and out of the away sides I had Seahawks as one of the strongest. I was proven well wrong in great style though. MLMOTPLGC have layed out their stall, not really sure under what definition they think they qualify as a beginner though!

I gave the Swans a decent run myself but could not keep their offense out. Away wins will just be so tough here, I was only scraping them in Div II. On to the derby next week.

Still I was top of the Top Division for 1 week!

Why are Nightmare listed as top of the division? The rest are alphabetical.

I don't know. I copy pasted the S from his team name, and it's a real S, so I'm wondering if he's managed to slip in a blank character in at the start. In theory this could be an advantage if the team ranking has an effect on ticket sales, but I don't think it works out that way for the first game.

Very much looking forward to this season, and seeing how it pans out.

Yes, when i named my team i slipped in a blank to see if it has an effect, but it didn't pay off in terms of higher stadium attendance in the first game, i just haven't taken it out yet.

Torsten Dreier has announced he has requested an early release from his contract. He had been contracted to stay with the Pros until the end of the season but with a lack of first team action in recent weeks he has decided to move on and start his career in media.

Torsten Dreier originally signed for the club back in Season 15 for the hefty sum of 17,000 before his true talent was recognised. A mecurial wide receiver who could also step into in tight end to terrorize the linebackers with his incredible pace. Frequently the Pros went as Dreier did and some exceptional performances drove the Pros to promotion in seasons 19 and 23 amassing 104 and 97 TDs in those seasons respectively.

He amassed over 38000 yards and 1800 receptions with 548 TDs in his lengthy career spanning 220 games.

The player was visibly upset making the announcement, no doubt thinking of the frustration of being such a large part of the Pros drives through the ranks but simply running out of pace as the Pros hit the big time.

Stats. Kinda. Trying to improve the the automatic version and there are still a few bugs but nearly everything is there.

Relieved to get an away win today. After having such a good first half I would have been very disappointed to have lost that one. 7-28 at half time to 28-28 with 1 minute to go and I managed to score as time ran out. Hard luck Christy. 1st blood in the Irish Derby goes to the Vikings......just.
MLMOTPLGC putting a nice run together. Not looking like beginners luck to me.

Beginners luck continues today but the game was a lot closer than the result shows.

Being a former Cup & Top Div Champion, I don't think you can call it beginners luck.
