This situation is absolutely ridiculous.
A major part of this game is supposed to be the management of team finances. I know that a lot of managers run a tight budget with a little bit of reserve. However, when you have 4-5 weeks of reserve that gets wasted because of poor planning by the game administrators it is impossible to budget your team finances. Add in schedules that include back-to-back "Away" games early in the season and its a recipe for disaster.

I personally run a very tight budget. I have high salaried players, but I have my budget very well planned. However, wasting extra weeks of income for no reason is just ridiculous and is not supposed to happen in this game. Now suddenly you have a situation where people are losing all of their finances for NO REASON and also going bankrupt. This is truly inexcusable mismanagement by the game owners.

Imagine a scenario where someone had an "Away" game as your final match of last season, then waited 2 weeks between seasons, and then had an "Away" game as your first match of this new season. You wouldn't get income until the after the financial update in 2nd week occurs, which means 5 full weeks without income.

I am lucky that last season I was able to put some cash into savings, but there are many seasons that this would have bankrupt me. Even that extra savings will dwindle down to very little, for no reason at all. I was planning to invest my extra cash into new players, but now that's gone which disrupts my plan for future seasons. I bet there are a lot of teams that are on the verge of bankruptcy because of this situation and will only get worse as the season progresses. Especially when you have a schedule that includes 2 "Away" games early in the season, which mine does. So many players are getting totally screwed by this.

Honestly, even if I survive this situation, I am probably going to hang it up. It's just not worth my time anymore.

Happy to help if you're in this game more than 4-5 years.
Message me what players can you send into "training camp at my academy", for half or full season!

As much as that would help me, it is also illegal as the rules are very grey in terms of selling players via pm's

This applies to:
- sending messages to other managers to buy your player(s) and/or to buy someone elses players;

But I could test the market with some players or sell my stadium and begin a death spiral...

As I already stated, this is going to be a tightrope walk for me. I've been here since 2009, please put a stop on wages and expenses until this delay is complete

I think that I can survive the off-season. It is more the 5 away games in the first 8 weeks that are killing my numbers in my spreadsheet.

Gonna trim the roster and hope that miracles might happen.

I will "survive" the offseason, however I will be in the red following my 1st week away game and my small cushion that I had anticipated going into the season with, is completely gone. I will have to make cuts and then of course face the negative impact of poor attendance as my team falls to the bottom of the TD. Such is life

It is a part of the game and I expect to relegate this season and then go to II and make some money for another long run in TD!

This current situation is NOT "a part of the game". It is solely from mismanagement by the game owners.

Given we are moving servers, we decided on this solution.

1. Next week, wages and maintenance will be calculated as per usual
2. In the 1st or 2nd (not determined yet) week of the new season, we will "skip" the wages and maintenance expenses.

So ... do we yet know what date the wage/expenses "skip" will actually occur?
