The 'correct' Admin response in this scenario -
We're sorry to hear some managers have been adversely affected by the additional financial processing which occurred at short notice. We've taken your feedback on board and will try to plan/communicate things better next time.

Actual Admin response -
[somewhat angry retaliation laced with sarcasm]
["You're all managing your teams badly so it's basically your fault"]

Simply amazing.

Yes, we are sorry that some of you got into problems because of this.

My "just a tad sarcastic" answer was directly aimed at Vikingx for his part of the "sarcasm" (like "ring a bell anyone" )
That's why I quoted him.

But, I'm sorry again, we did let you know beforehand what will happen.
And the fact that nobody can get bankrupt in 1 week is just that - a fact - and it is stated in FAQ as well.

The extra week of salaries was certainly to be avoided, as I have already written previously (What if some team already had a negative balance sheet?)
Please admin, definitely try to avoid it for the next few times.
Having said this, I invite managers to think about that: to date there has in fact been no change! The extra week of salary counting has been equalized by the one of freezing.
So if you are in financial difficulty today, well... you would have been in financial difficulty regardless.

Im going to play devils advocate here and say that in all honesty if your a manager who isn’t financially stable enough to miss one week of income, you should likely focus on doing that rather than competing. I couldnt imagine being a TD team without minimum 10 mil in bank lol

I won't take that personally, even though I've basically been below 10M since I first got to TD. The highest my bank has been was 20m...........that was during seasons in AFLC, so without that it's challenging and an extra week or two with no games is not something that I ever look forward to......not complaining either

I had about 15m when I first entered TD. Now, it is all used and no results to brag about.

My beef about the "Free week" was that setting not setting it in (or before) the server upgrade caused some concern in regards to bankruptcy during the off season. If I hadn't sold out during the off season, I would have been negative 1m for more than two weeks and therefore at risk of bankruptcy.

Now, the game continues and hopefully, my trimming will see me through another season and everything will be back to normal.
