For WR and TE and RB
If a choosen player is in the box score (means he made a td) he receives for each td 6p. Shouldnt he recieve points pased on his total yards?

For QB
he receives 6p for each td pass or run td he made by himself
shouldnt he get points for each x yards passing?

The roster:
What positions?
Again my favorite one:
1QB
2WR
1TE
1RB
1Flex (TE/WR/RB)
1DEF

How the gather the stats? 2 ways possible imo

1.) We would need to know the name of each GI-player and the game-id of his next game. Then I could write a script to gather the fantasy points.

2.) Each GI-member does this by him/herself.

If you limit it to a couple divisions... I think I'll drop out...

I would not do that. Every player is free to choose players / defenses from what division he want. It does not matter for gathering stats where this players are from.

OK, I'll play!

it does if you own or play against said player.

Oh, you are the anti cheating police

So this could be first 2 rules:

1. you can't choose players that you play against for a weekend.
2. you can't choose your own players.

if we are not doing this by a gm script. then the most honest way is to let your opponent score for your team.
negates a lot of arguments

much better idea. I would gather these results by some small automatic running scripts. Pls remember where I come from...

Hm, too bad, I can't get the rosters from remote without login in. This means, I can collect the stats automatically, but when setting up each roster each of needs to put in the GI-playerids of his players.

So we should collect the stats by hand, the opponent should collect the stats from teh several games. By a small GM Script this could be alitlle bit easier. What do you think? Should we start a beta phase for that?

The first would be rolling dices for draft order, then the draft itself. Or we skip this part, each one chooses hos roster, post here, first post wins player if double.

Is this thing going to be GI-wide or limited to a particular region/division?

1.If it's game wide, I say let these guys pick who they want. On the other hand, I don't think doubles would cause too much trouble. Perhaps we could make a rule that half of your roster has to be unique

2. If we are limiting things, a draft might be a good idea.

I like option 1 best for a trial run as it takes less work.
