Bid prices and fines

Fines and complaints aren't public due to the fact that we can do a mistake and public "crucifixion" could really damage the reputation of the manager in case of the mistake and the fine itself causes a lot of bad will. Those who severely broke the rules are locked immediately (bot club) and the financial fines nullify the gain from the braking the rules for particular case.

Non-public penal system has nothing to do with our glorified image or alter ego, you can search at the bug reports forum for the evidence that we are only humans and we do mistakes.

When I first read that the original poster was "held responsible for another team that buys too many of their players?" , I went back through my past transfers to see if I could potentially be in danger of fines. I'd never paid attention to who buys from me and who I buy from and I wondered if there could be something that looked suspicious.

Some time ago, someone made a suggestion for a bid history. While their reasoning for it was a different situation, I think a bid history could reveal a lot more about this situation. Was Dolphin7 involved in any other transfer bids that he didn't win? Were bid increments extremely large? For example, was there something like a $100,000 bid on a player who's current bid was $10,000? Was anybody else involved in the bidding of the players he did win?

As it is now, we don't have enough information to know whether anything wrong was done. The admins have access to this information, so I'll trust they acted appropriately.

Can we stop talking about an specific cases of cheating, etc as that is against the rules...

shall we get back to some of the questions in this thread that are interesting? and which dont break rules by talking about them?

so..... back to.....

how is one team held responsible for another team that buys too many of their players? Also in a free market, how much is too much to ask for a player?

Should the seller be held responsible for a buyer who does not scout or ask about a player? I am happy to share talent of any of my players selling, anybody will tell you this.

Well its not really a free market if there are limits.
And no, use the scout tool responsibly.

This thread, man, is actually a ploy by Gatr22, hand-in-glove with the admins to fan the distrust, spice the forums, create panic and freeze the trade-market.....so that they can then use explosions to create mini-tidal waves that would result in the atlantis rising from under the depths .......

Why do you think this is a fine? In my opinion, this is just a transfer price adjustement, which was necessary in this case.
