How often is Cup played? Every week? Every 2nd week? Else?

Every one or second week untill you are knocked out.

Last seasons winner in your region was New York Midgets.

Go check their matcharchive for season 23, and you'll know the answer.

THanks for the answer on previous question.

Lets assume i have both a Fitness center (3rd level), and also assistant coach with 20 on Physichal skills.
Does the Fitness center add its 20% also on the 20 training points gained from the coach?

For fitness training, assuming you have it fully upgraded (mine only had 2 upgrades, so not sure what 3rd level is?), you have 20 skill fitness coach, then you will get the 10 pts every players gets (+/- 2 pts, so anywhere from 8 to 12 pts), you will get 20 pts from coaching, you will get your players teamwork/2 (which will vary from 1 pt to 10 pts, depending on teamwork number, then all of that will be multiplied by 1.2 for 20% more pts because you have the fitness center fully upgraded. You don't get the 20 training pts from the training center when you are training fitness skills (speed, strength and stamina).

Is there any tool I can use to get my player's ratings for each position? As a newbie player all these attributes are quite overwhelming, and though I know roughly what skills are needed for each position - it'd be immensely helpful to have all that info on paper.

All managers only know the skills "roughly needed" for each position. Most managers have their opinions about which skills are needed for each position, but the site does not give you a specific road map. The only thing we all know from that admins is that each position uses between 3 and 5 skills. Also, there are some vague hints in the FAQ section where they explain each position. Other than that, it's just a matter of using the obvious skills and building up some other skills and testing the players performance. Unfortunately, it's hard to tell the effect of skills until they are high enough to actually mean something (like over 16). As such, since you are new, simply work on fitness right now. This game is about patience and you want to build up your bank account, while keeping salaries as low as possible. Fitness does not raise salary, so train that while you learn more about the game. In time, you can develop your own list of skills to build for each position (just remember 3-5 skills per position and if you want to err on the side of safety, simply select 5 skills per position and that will be your own model. Good luck

Thanks Gatr22, quick follow-up - is there any info on just how much each attribute affects a player's skill?

I mean, I know a QB needs Intel + Consistency, but also Passing and Vision (all from the forums) - but what % of each contributes towards their skill? Or are all required skills taken evenly.

It's up to each manager to figure out and most have their opinions. The admins have stated that there are 'primary' skills and 'secondary' skills. What percentage effect they have is certainly conversation. They have also stated that there are 3-5 skills used per position. They have also stated that 'evenly' trained players will perform better that 'one skill' wonders. Let's take QB position. For me I list the primary skills as passing and vision. I also require that they have 19 or 20 intel, 4* min talent and at least 13 consistency. The secondary skills I list as footwork, agility and position. Fitness does not matter to me, but obviously they need stamina.

As such, I will train all 5 skills to 7 as a starting point and also make sure stamina is at 7. Then I boost the primary skills to 10, then follow with secondary and stamina to 10. You can do it one skill point at a time to keep salary more balanced or a few points at a time if salary doesn't matter to you. Then continue in this fashion 2 pts at a time, because generally, you can raise all of those skills 2 pts per season, including stamina. Then do a similar process for all other positions.

I don't think too much about the percentage difference between what primary vs secondary skills do, I just keep them all evenly trained
