I'm with you Faulcon,I wont pay to play either mate...just a tip you might need in the future ...I have been paying over for players that have already been maxed on physicals just as an insurance policy against training someone up that has low caps

I just noticed I have the 2nd lowest wages in the td(and half the champs wage bill which makes having the most TDs feel even better) due to having 90% of my players at skill levels of 10 or less,
I almost went bankrupt in season 2 and have done all I can to keep wages low since then but now I have 50 mil in the bank and I lost my grip on the league its time to train those main stats hard and make a push for season 8

Rich bastard, I only have 42 million

The point projectracing is that you lose training efficiency by training fitness when the players can't improve. And 40+ players is too many to keep track of individually without too much effort (I'm lazy).

Speaking of bankruptcy, I'm probably going to head that way soon. Last season's early exit from the Regional Cup, which I depended on heavily for survival, has absolutely ruined me. Damn that wretched draw to hell! And damn the stupid and unjust random draw system! It's a complete joke, in my view.

I've sold my youth academy and training centre (they were the first to go). Then, about half an hour away from bankruptcy, I sold my stadium. Following that, I sold many of my best players. But I really don't have a hope in hell of surviving much more than a couple of more weeks. I only have a little over a million, and the costs of rebuilding the stadium, even a small amount, are just too bloody steep.

There's still the fitness centre and Club Shop, but they won't bring in much. I could also sell a few more players, but again, I don't think they'll bring in nearly enough. I suppose I could also fire my Level 10 coaches, but I think that would only reduces my wages by about $60,000 - again, not enough by a long shot.

So this is probably the end of the Shaky Islanders. Which is a bit of a problem with me being the national coach as well. But when you get screwed over by a crap and unfair draw, what can you do? (A certain song by Ce-Lo Green springs to mind here.)

I may return with another team, and if I do, I will try to reclaim the national coach spot back (which presumably will be left vacant if I go bankrupt). Probably wouldn't take me that long to work my way back up to the top division again. Things I would do differently a second time would include much greater emphasis on building my stadium before anything else (apart from maybe the Club Shop and Fitness Centre), and training fitness earlier.

But just be warned that, in this particular incarnation at least, I may not be around much longer.

Surely you can manage to remain solvent even if it means getting demoted quite badly next season? Sell all your players for whatever you can get and buy crap ones to fill the necessary gaps, keep as much of the stadium as you can afford, and drop all the extras and coaches?

Sell or fire some players. There is no need for the amount of players you have on your roster. Save yourself $50K a week.

Don't ever wanna see a manager fail.

I agree, you have way to much players..

But do you really have a 1000 seat stadium?
stadium is so important to get income. You should have at least 50K stadium IMO.

Look like he sold the stadium before selling his players. Will be very hard to some back from that.

Need to sell all player with wages over $3,000 now.

Need to get total wages under $90,000.

Hopefully this season's (7) Cup draw is better for everyone than last season.

I found the draw last season to be quite acceptable...
