Dear God, just what I did NOT need: drawing the Auckland Raiders first up in the Regional Cup. I usually go deep in the Regional Cup by playing a succession of bots and average teams, and don't usually meet the likes of the Raiders until the semi-finals or thereabouts. Which makes a lot more sense to me. This way, one of the best Oceania teams is going to be knocked out extremely early. Probably mine, given my recent record against the Raiders (although I've been running them fairly close lately).

What frustrates me even more is that going deep in the Regional Cup usually keeps me financially afloat each season. But while I'll get a decent injection of cash from the gate takings, it won't be enough to stabilise me for the rest of the season (unless I pull off an upset).

Damn you to hell, Grid-Iron! You really suck for doing this.

Just looked at the draw again. Godzilla Raiders is playing bot team Wekas Warriors. That is an easy win and lots of cash from a 101K seat stadium. Lucky bugger.

haha! That is because you are playing the 2nd lowest standing bot team in the comp? If you dont win that 105-0, there is something wrong.

Next round, I am in the same boat as you for it. I'm playing a big opponent while there are still bot vs bot games happening.

Yes last year I exited the Cup playing the Skinks. 45-0 thrashing they gave me.
