The world cup cycle is starting again soon head coach applications are starting. Tinkler did a fairly good job last season but still couldn't get us deep into the World Cup. Who's going to apply for coach this time round? I wouldn't mind giving it a go, but there are definitely 5 people (at least) who could probably do a better job.

You can already apply. Well for the past 12 hours anyway.

I say anyone can do it as long as you can make time out of your busy life to do a bit of research into the roster and do callups, and willing to accept some advice from previous coaches with proven winning track records. IT's not a hard gig when you work as a team.

I just had a look through the current roster, and age wise it is really ugly. Lots of 30yos, a few 31s and 32s. And a couple of 29yos. Probably highlighted by the lack of callups last cycle. But nothing too crazy. So whomever gets the coaching gig will have alot of rostering work to do this cycle.

The 31-32yo'ers need to go unless for some weird reason their physicals are still good, that I highly doubt.

The 30yo'ers need to be assessed individually and see whether they stay or not. As they become 31yo half way through a cup cycle and may require a replacement for same reasons as above.

The positions with 29yo'ers need to be looked at and up and coming younger players need to be located, not neccessarily called up, but make a list somewhere.

Back to the 30yo'ers for example. We have 2 30yo QBs. I have a QB with 18 skills. Will be 19s soon/by the start of the next cycle, and 20s in the first few weeks into next season/half way through next cycle. So we could drop one of the 30yo 20 skill QBs, and replace him with younger soon-to-be-equally-just-as-good 27yo QB.
