I wouldn't worry too much about the guys that turn 31 during the cycle, as the actual physical decline is pretty slow. Obviously not a long term player, but more than capable for one last dance.

Aging players will be part of the report. And one of them is a surprize. The report will include assessment of the players used and unused in the last cycle. Position needs and potential player callups. I'll type it up this afternoon.

This is what I look at when I see the roster and look through last cycles games.

Our #2/#3 WR only played 1 game. He is also our #1 KR. Never played this position.

A TE with 10 catching and nothing tacticals and poorish physicals played all but 1 games while 17 pos/vis/cat/agi/sta/str/spd players rode the bench. I have no idea how/why this happened as there is clear light and day between some TEs.

Our #1 LB never played a game.

Our #2/#3 SF/CB played 1 game.

These assessments are only made on current skills of the players, and not what would have been 19 weeks ago. So by just changing up the starters should see improvements/wins.

Now this weeks moves:-

I though about a possible QB change, but will stick with the current crop. They are all to well advanced to include a future start taking up a roster spot.

Bootmas will most like go. Although a dual RB/LB. Still is only a backup to the backups skill wise for both positions. I have a RB/TE that is better.

Gourdis will go. little catching, very low tacticals and weird physicals. I have 5 players on my Wildcats roster that are better TEs than him.

The 32yo Olineman will stay. He has 20 str, 16 agi and 17 sta. Surprized? I was. I guess being on a bot team means to dodge training updates. Hence no losses.

Donohoe will go. Poor physicals already and currently declining. Already have 2 replacement in mind.

Our DLs are monsters. But we have alot of future stars coming up. Doubtful to see changes.

LBs - I haven't found any new to include.

CBs - Cannot see any movement in this position.

SFs - Awaiting some feedback, may see some roster movement for this position.

Who's going to be starting QB this cycle? If it was up to me it would probably be Bandy, but who's your choice?

was thinking the same.

But Watt as 1 less vis but much better con/sta.

Also thinking of dropping a WR. We have 6 on the roster. 3 are clear far ahead of the other 3. those 3 have poor str and con. but 1 had poor pos also. Drop?

Trying to free up some places for LBs. Got 2 options, but still 50/50 throw between currents and potentials.

Also thinking of dropping DL Riggio for same above reason. We dont really need 5 DLs, and if a injury happens, then we can go to a 3-4 defense.

thoughts?

I'd probably call drop a receiver and add an extra backup O- Lineman.

I'd drop a safety before a D-Lineman, do we really need 5 safeties? And if you do use drop a DL and one gets injured, would you consider the use of a 3-3-5? Even though we almost beat England a few seasons ago, we're not the most talented team in the world, so why not mix things up a bit on D?

M.Betts is really a DL, even though showing as a SF. max bpos in both positions. 14 speed and 20 strength. much more suited as a DL.

So technically we currently have 5 DLs and 4 SFs.

Ah, well then there wouldn't be a problem with dropping a DL and adding a LB if you feel it is necessary.
