Only an INT and TD to follow on the last play series will change the outcome

Thank you guys. It's a shame to see little things like running out of time with the ball so close to scoring etc. But that is luck and it is part of the game.

Bummer 3 of 4 recievers running into consistnecy issues also. Only 1 reciever played at full bpos. Probably the main reason for first half offensive struggle. Considering we only lost by 7, those little issues would've seen the win for us.

But hey, Australia had a great run anyway. We ain't ranked high. But we knocked out France, Russia, Poland and Portugal along the way. And collected some new found respect and fans from other nations. The support from British, American and Romanian managers once there team's had been eliminated was huge.

Sorry to Moran20 for not winning the whole thing, I know you have a big bet on us.

Did anyone expect second place? The goal was final 8, everything else was a bonus.

Second place. It ain't no bad thing. Sure a few little things didn't go our way in the final game. But at least we have a awesome goal to reach next world cup cycle...
