So my guy ended up cost less (far less in most cases) than all of the other less talented players and going to a club not involved in those sales.

Rofl, maybe as your guy was significantly older? Try selling one of you mid twenties guys ;-)

Sure I'll test that theory....

Now that the auction is over, this won't be viewed as a promotion. (yes, some of us still follow the rules)

I listed a 20 INT/20 CON player. 25 year old MLB, 1 full training season away from peaking and not a single bid. Players with far less "skill" going for millions!.... amazing

In the words of shmert: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAHHHHHAA"

I will say that your mlb wasn't worth your $500K starting bid. His tackling and non-physical skills were low enough that he may not have been startable for a couple of seasons at least.

That doesn't take away from your point that some nations have a long history of shady transactions.

Depends on who is purchasing... People were paying MILLIONS for absolute garbage. Here I dangled a 20/20 monster potential player for a mere 500K.

As I said, for a Top Div team, he is a good season away from reaching full training potential. But by next season will be starting material. However, he certainly could immediately be the cornerstone of a solid defense for a d.II or lower team for 5+ seasons. Especially with his reasonable salary.

By the end of next season, he will be a 20/20 monster.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I didn't actually expect anyone to buy him. I mostly just wanted to prove my theory that the transfer market is a complete joke! Which seems to be popular opinion....

i agree to seeing some weird/stupid or questionable bidding out there but as far as your MLB not being bid on (if i remember him correctly) some of us who would of bid on him didnt have the 500k to do so.

lol dont test that theory again with him in another year lol

This transfer market is not Hattrick or PPM where a million people play. In the game in which several dozen people participate, the market is not stable. A young player with 20 speed, with a talent of 5, can be sold for 1k or for several million. You can not say what player should cost how much because it is uncountable. If you blame someone for it, only Melderon. They ignore and push people away. Keep on running or keep on being random results How can you enjoy what will roll on your bones? Goodbye everyone.
