Ok this is my attempt to chronicle the season for NA Div. II.2 I was in this division last year and am still here {darn you SteelerSal } Anyways, I am excited that there are now 5 humans in the division. I will attempt to chronicle them in this post prior to the start of season 3.

First up Megopolis Monsters http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=club&team_id=1008

JR723399 has put together a solid squad. Two seasons and two promotions seems to bode well for this very good manager. Also season 2 for this club saw a run to the semifinals of the NA Regional Cup only to lose out to the eventual champion in a close fought contest. Early prognosticators show this team as the team to beat in season 3 but only time will tell. Looks to rely on a very strong offense both in the air and on the ground. Has a week two matchup with the Tennesse Orange to establish early season leader.

Next up is Oakland Destruction http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=club&team_id=1042

dablackhole appears to be another solid manager in this division. Same song different verse as this team also has two seasons and two trophies to show for it. Another victim of the Toledo Vengance in the NA Regional Cup the Oakland Destruction had a good run until then. This team appears to rely on the defense but don't go to sleep on the offense as they can put up points with the best of them. They have a week one matchup with Sphinx 2000 which should be a good litmus test for both teams. Keep your eye on this team!

Next up is Sphinx 2000 http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=club&team_id=80

tradick is the other returning member to NA Division II.2 Sphinx 2000 always fields a solid club but just can't seem to get over the hump. Was bounced out rather early in the Regional Cup and was unable to muster a victory against the two human managers in Division II.2 last season. If I were you I would not look past this team though as they have a strong running game and a great kicker that can give them an edge in a close fought game. They open up with the Oakland Destruction week 1 and then have the H-Town Indians in week 2. If they can pull off victories in both of those contests they could be sitting pretty. This could be the season that Sphinx 2000 gets some hardware!

Next up we have the Tennessee Orange http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=club&team_id=1060

gn1330 is another manager with two seasons under the belt and two trophies to show for it. This team was also bounced early from the NA Regional Cup last season but got a tough draw in the Toledo Rockets who were the eventual runner-up. This team also appears to have a solid defense and may put the clamps on many opponents this season. The Orange get to face Megopolis in week 2, Oakland in week 3 and the Indians in week 4. Depending on how they come out of that stretch will determine where they go this season. The jury is still out on this team but check back in a couple of weeks to see where they are.

Finally we have my team the H-Town Indians http://www.grid-iron.org/index.php?page=club&team_id=349

I had a very up and down season last year and am looking forward to moving forward to the new season. I am currently having an identity crisis and am not sure what direction my team is headed. The first few weeks will determine alot about how I decide to move forward with my team.

Best of luck to all the teams in NA Division II.2 and check back here for updates throughout the season.

Looks like I have inspired a few people to start up threads of their own on their divisions. Keep it up as it is fun to see what is happening in other divisions.

I remember when Sphinx 2000 was in the TD. Those were the good old days.(before Merc and Sal came around)

Too many players are widling their way to the TD. I hate stiff competition.

Truthfully I like the competition. I think this season I will get my first league loss that didn't come from me setting an illegal lineup.(that only happened twice)

I'll get 4 league losses when you get over 10 wins.
