I have not guessed the tune

And if I had to guess, I'd say ode to joy, but I honestly haven't a clue.

Woohoo!!! Back in December I entered a poem into a contest & it got chosen to get published! I finally got it today! Here's the poem*

Christmas Peace

Outdoors, flakes fall lightly on top of a white blanket of snow.
Bare trees stand still as they become topped white.
Inside also stands a tree, but the pine is nowhere near bare.
Plethora’s of needles stand seven feet tall.
A multitude of white lights shine just as stars twinkle in the night.
The strips of tinsel are silver icicles hanging down from green overhangs.
By hooks are orbs hung of all colors.
Maroon, navy, evergreen, silver, and gold among others are seen on the tree.
At the tip of the mini-colossus lies a five-pointed star.
The topper stands the brightest over the magnificent scene.
A myriad of boxes wrapped in colorful paper hides the bottom of the tree trunk.
Adults and children alike open presents one by one by one.
A homey aroma from a lit fireplace filters throughout the air.
Children are in glee, and laughter erupts from parents.
Love can be felt and seen from hugs given out to one other.
On this Christmas night,
All is peace.

The battle for D3:

Two teams in D3
From 3.7 and 3.4
The Vikings and the Danishes of Delhi
In a divisional match-up galore

The two teams were evenly skilled
And hopeful as they took the field
The fans watching were very thrilled
As they watched the Vikings defense yield

After one quarter, to great surprise
The Danishes had taken a large lead
The Vikings had come to their demise
As the Danishes scored points they didn't need

After all was said and done
The Danishes were the better team
Up and down they did run
And 3.7 reigned supreme

Only one problem. Anyone who thought the Danishes and the Vikings were even was high.

Now if me and Cro meet again in the cup, then we'll see which league is better.
