Subsequently, can you really attribute these to 20 stamina bug in the first place? If 1) They're not actually dropping and 2) Only some are dropping and it's questionable if the bug is even happening

Simply, I see in nearly all losses that we have players dropping a star, usually multiple (but afaic see, we only have the 1 OL on the O atm, right?).

Like I said to project, I'd like to see a game we won where we have a player dropping a full star. In our last 3 games we have only dropped the 1 to the Serbs, with Morton being the culprit - and we lost badly.

On the issue of just 6 pressures and that being reasonable, let's remember they all happened on the one side and maybe most can be attributed to Morton (when the OG, not the OT, attempts to block the DE). And we have a 43% comp! We had 52% today vs a great D (5* across the 11) and 43% vs the Dutch. The difference between the dutch/serb games is that we had a yds/pass of 11.6/9.1.

Anyway, my point is simple - I think if we can use someone other than a stam 20 player then we absolutely should.

I know we got to the final last season but the stam 20 thing hit us in that game also if memory serves.

Congrats Australia. Home ground timekeeping.

I'm not sure they have clocks... all three games the Aus NT have played in have been 25k, 25k (same stadium) and now 10k! Probably good management, as a bigger crowd would have led to riots in the streets in celebration!

I thought it was pretty cool that my stadium was hosting World Cup games. Especially considering the real life Salter Oval has a capacity of maybe 1500 and is in the most boring/obesed/duggo town in Australia (Bundaberg).

Like I already said. The whole last cycle was full of those games. We won 11 and lost 3.

4 pressures and still a crappy 51%. So pressures caused 4 incompletes and 23 come from other.

I understand you are focused on the Stamina 20 thing. But presonally I'd be concerntrating on the 23 incompletes, not the 4 incompletes from pressures.

Serbia games was 20 incompletes and 7 incompletes from pressures. You are concerned about 11 incompletes in 2 games than the other 43 incompletes?Last edited on 2014-11-28 at 12:32

And great win!

It be awesome if Archie decided to play 4 full quarters. We'd probably win by 21 every game.

Vs Spain in the 1/4s. Killer LB unit right there. Seems the pass need to be directed away from that unit.

So you are saying that the OL only dictates pressures/sacks and that the only thing that dictates completions after that is the WR/TE/QB?

Unless you can tell us the devs have stated otherwise, I think it's reasonable to think that comp % is effected by the general quality of the OL/FB, not just the pressures. To me, in GI a "pressure" means the QB maybe threw the ball out of bounds, etc i.e. the pass rush got to him so quickly that he could not target a specific receiver. Just because there wasn't a pressure doesn't mean that the chance of a catch isn't effected by a poor OL/FB.

If it was real life, then yes you be correct. But the match engine isn't that advanced sorry.

The passing game is in 3 stages. The pressure/sack stage. The find reciever/pass stage. And the after catch/make tackle stage. They are all stages, and aren't linked. You go past 1 stage, you are onto the next. We are failing badly on the second stage.

The stages dont merge together like real life. It is simple black and white. Not 256 colours.

So the devs have stated this or the community or you have deduced it?

Our defence can't stop anything today and our Oline is again struggling (without Morton and both sides but particularly left). Another sack reduces us to a FG attempt and then we give up another two broken tackle TD

Gah, intercept and then another two broken tackle TD. That's five to one, can't keep up with that shootout figure. Just casually walking through players with 19 primaries. The ugly side of 'down both directions' tactics rears its head again with Gibson getting suspiciously little ball. I think we're done, I don't think we have the time even if we score 1 possession TDs from now on (like they have).

EDIT: Also, I think I made a mistake with the 4th down setting and set the distance for when you play a proper play on 4th down too low. It's a tough one though, you look stupid if you go for it on 4th down from 3 if you're ahead in the 30 yard line, and you also look stupid when the 4th down play fails, but that's potentially a couple more points in this particular game (where we just so happen to have achieved quite a lot of small non 10 yard gains). Not enough to bridge the gap fully, but eh, my bad I guess given how the game turned out.
