I just responded to what Daudy pointed out and what you just pointed out - all on Rhys side.

No probs with 6 pressure overall but you surely must consider that the overall O is effected also. Pressures are pressures but having a serious problem on the line has probably lead to the 43% completion ratio also.

Every time I see the stam 20 thing kick in the results for that team are ALWAYS bad. There will never be a stam 20 player on my team no matter how good they are otherwise.

So you think incompletes other than pressures are never attributable to the OL? Can you show me a 60-65% game with the stam 20 issue in play?

Could be, but I think he's still a direct upgrade over McDougall (only missing 2 stamina, but still a mid range green and lots higher than when we used to play him). His long injury stint saved a few points. Jett brings higher consistency than both (same intel), 1 more agility than Bandy (19 instead of 18), same stamina, but -1 in primary skills.

That's a bit of a strawman because Project was talking about number of pressures (which is the most important bit, as the stam 20 issue on an OG being an actual negative would lead to more pressures). IF (and this is a big if given this game engine), the OLine did have an effect on incompletions beyond pressures, surely that would correlate with the amount of pressures and still be an indication of the level of 'sustained' pressure? Subsequently, pressures are the only measuring stick we've got.

Our loss to Switzerland in the final had a 60% completion rate with 6 pressures and 2 sacks (albeit the pressures were spread), which is a bigger struggle than the Serbian game just then (with the Stam 20 bug supposedly at play with the OG), so his statement about the pressures is true. Having to find a game with the stam 20 issue and 60% completion rate wouldn't really matter beyond cosmetics, as what matters is the amount of pressures they supposedly allow - whether or not you believe other incompletions are affected by the OL.

And anyway, even if the 20 stamina bug had a truly gamebreaking effect, surely we'd notice in positions where we understand how they work better? Take my CB Adolfo Rey. Been 20 stamina dropping 1* all season (only, I'm not entirely sure how many of those are the bugs as I have no second 20 stam player to confirm its occurrence happening). I had a look at a few random games (competitive ones of course) and notice he's dropped rating heaps, but against a balanced offence (that is, no favoured side and the standard TE/WR setup) he's held his own. I would expect to have seen him torched repeatedly given how frequently his goes down a star in the big games. This is a repeated example, against you guys, against AFLC, in the cup or league. There's no way he has some distinct skills advantage to mask over any deficiencies the 20 stamina gives him, so that begs the question whether it really does anything? Also adding to that is last NT campaign where the same players as now were playing, flaws and all.

Now this is where I think maybe we need to look at things a bit more objectively. I know we've all got our biases (I mean, I noticed Rhys while watching, but didn't realise it was only 6 in the end) and I don't think we'll ever really agree about the severity of this, but what is the basis for this argument in the Netherlands game? None of the 20 stamina guys dropped. And in the Serbian game, only Morton dropped. That's not the bug happening, because all the past instances (and the reason why we noticed it in the first place) was because when the bug supposedly struck, they ALL dropped.

Subsequently, can you really attribute these to 20 stamina bug in the first place? If 1) They're not actually dropping and 2) Only some are dropping and it's questionable if the bug is even happening
