Hmm. Good start, but then we just miss out on a field goal opportunity partially due to a sack, then can't convert a 2nd and 1 and miss the subsequent field goal. Hopefully we go back to scoring TDs!

EDIT: Also, did the UK NT manager just go bot? As in, his club has gone bot? I think he did! Mickey being gone is big news.

Well with less than a minute and a half to go and being 3 TDs ahead, I think it's safe to say we've won that one. I'm a bit disappointed though, we were winning 42-7 at one stage before going on a big drought (not scoring at all in the 4th) and allowing them two TDs. If we'd taken the earlier FG opportunities (or converted them into TDs even) and kept up the pace, it would have been a real statement.

Oh well, I'll still take a 21 point win over the Netherlands anyday.

UK win the other one in first possession overtime, but with uncertainty over their manager (though their default orders appear to be pretty good) puts us in a reasonable position.

EDIT: Czechs put up 84 points against a non-bot Norway defence. I mean, I know a few of those players are old (I've had a couple of the Norwegians on my team), but sheesh.

Well done Daudy - I think we went flat due to the relax rule after we got to 42-7.

No 20 stam issues ----> no worries!

Bit of a slow start from our offence, was hoping Archie would also get more ball. Maybe a bit of a risky tactic this time around, but it worked for one of Serbia's opponents and it's been working for me at club level.

It's going to be a close finish, but this is exactly what I wanted earlier with Archie getting more targets. 6 Archie targets in a row = 6 Archie completions and a TD. Hopefully we don't run out of time, though that drive took up like 4 minutes

Alas, our defence has come apart a bit after a strong start. Several double broken tackle TDs given up. Looks out of our grasp now, though the Netherlands looking good against the UK means it's likely 1 game a piece for everybody.

EDIT: Another interception against us, gah.

Well that was a lousy turnout. Ukraine can do it with lesser personnel but we can't. I can do it at club level against two teams (Kamikaze + Wildcats) which are literally the entire Australian secondary (and subsequently definitely NT level), but the NT didn't today.

Maybe should have gone for something conservative. The Bandy to Gibson connection was given far too much favouritism over the Bandy to Archie connection by the rng, and it also really sucked. A bit less sucking (I mean, the builds are pretty good afterall) or a bit more Archie and I think it would have been better. All the examples of this particular tactic working show a relatively even distribution between the two receivers on that side, but today was way too lopsided and didn't work at all. They were also only playing one deep safety which should have helped with a lot of cheap mid range connections, but alas, it didn't pan out that way.

Rhys was also given a terrible time on the OL, which is annoying.

Comes down to tomorrow. We have to beat the UK to progress. Everybody in the group is tied up at one game each.

...but did he?

The past instances of this we've noticed because ALL 20 stamina players suspiciously drop a star at the same time. This didn't happen.

We must have been watching a different game. 6 pressures and 1 sack in total allowed by our OL. All from Rhys side though. But versus a 20 skill $104K DE, I think these stats are pretty normal.

I think the QB needs to be looked at. The total incompletes are just too high. And the OL allowing 6 pressures is nothing. The recievers Gibson, Grose, McLeod are all better than lasts cycles recievers. Doubtful that the 4th other reciever will cause massive incompletion issues.

Our air attack had sucked in both the second halves. Is the physical declining QB to blame?
